Donnybrook

Located less than 3 kilometres south of Dublin city centre Donnybrook is a well-established, quintessential suburb in the heart of Dublin 4, one of Ireland’s most prestigious postcodes. Nestled between the bustling areas of Ballsbridge and Ranelagh – Donnybrook is a desirable neighbourhood known for its wide leafy avenues, charming red brick Edwardian and Victorian architecture, and community feel.

With origins dating back to Norman times, Donnybrook Village is steeped in history. Donnybrook Graveyard dates back to the 8th century and is reputed to be the site of a convent founded by St. Broc. Herbert Park is situated between Donnybrook and Ballsbridge Village and on the banks of the River Dodder which runs from the foot of the Dublin Mountains and joins the River Liffey at Ringsend.
